The Manitowoc division of Alliance Laundry Systems will be getting even bigger very soon.
The Ripon-based company is reportedly moving their Genuine Parts Department from Ripon to Manitowoc and bringing with it more jobs. The workers at the Ripon plant in that department will not lose their jobs, however, as they will be relocating them to other departments.
The main reason for the move is to help reduce overtime at the Ripon plant.
While this move is a positive one for the Manitowoc community, the company said they are still committed to Ripon, as they have invested $90 million in the facility since 2012.
