A Manitowoc man is facing charges after a domestic incident.
Officers were dispatched to a home in the 1700 block of Waldo Boulevard at 6:45 PM yesterday (February 24th) on a report of family trouble. When they arrived, they saw the 28-year-old suspect fleeing the scene on foot, which he continued to do after police activated their lights.
He was eventually caught and placed into handcuffs.
Officers then spoke with the suspect’s girlfriend, who explained that he became upset, and began throwing items such as beer bottle and an air fryer. The man also reportedly pushed his father against a wall, and onto a chair which caused him to hit his head on a wall.
The suspect is now facing charges of Disorderly Conduct and Battery, each with a Domestic Violence enhancer, as well as Resisting an Officer.
