For the past 24 years, the Jaycees have been the organizing agency behind Manitowoc’s Brewfest, but that is changing in 2022.
With the event canceled in 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic, and the Manitowoc chapter of the JCI disbanding, Brewfest might have come to an end, if not for a chance meeting between a JCI Manitowoc Brewfest Committee member and another local service club member.
The Manitowoc Noon Rotary club will be taking over the event organization next year, with the event scheduled for February 19th, 2022.
The Rotary Club will have a year to learn from past organizers how to run this great event, but you can expect the same great event as in the past with plenty of different beers to sample raffle prizes and entertainment.
