The finishing touches have been put on the La Crosse Center lobby, box office, conference rooms, and arena – and now it’s time for high school basketball.
Starting with the girls’ state tournament today (Wednesday), the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association is descending on La Crosse.
A maximum of 1,000 fans will be allowed inside for the three days of tournament play. Masks are required and social distancing measures will be enforced.
Local businesses are looking forward to hundreds of out-of-town visitors.
The Mishicot girls will take the court on Friday (February 26th) at 9:05 AM, when they will face Fall Creek. That game will be aired on 97.1 FM WCUB.
The boys’ state tournament will be played at the La Crosse Center the following weekend.
