Kenosha County prosecutors are expected to file first-degree intentional homicide charges against a 39-year-old local man in the disappearance and death of a woman.
Gia Martin went missing in late January and her body was found almost three weeks later.
Kenosha police announced the arrest of Roderick L. Smith Tuesday, saying the charges were being referred to the district attorney’s office.
Smith could also be charged with hiding a corpse, felon in possession of a firearm, and obstructing an investigation.
Police haven’t said what led to Martin’s death.
