No change is being reported in the spring primary election for the 7th Aldermanic District in Manitowoc.
The vote canvassers reported that Tim Boldt received 96 votes on February 16th, while Scott Pelot garnered 55, and incumbent Aaron Bailey received 50. Bailey announced on Monday (February 22nd) that he had filed for a recount, which was held yesterday morning.
The City Clerk’s office reported that the number came back exactly the same in the recount as they had the first time.
Boldt and Pelot will now square off in the General Election on April 6th to see who will represent District 7 on the Manitowoc City Council.
