It was the first game for new head coach Chris Finch with a Minnesota team that has the worst record in the league at 7-26.
The Bucks led by just a bucket, 38-36, after the first frame, then they steadily pulled away.
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 37 points and had eight rebounds and Milwaukee was 20-of-42 on its 3-point shots. Seven Bucks scored in double figures as Milwaukee won its third game in-a-row.
Coach Mike Budenholzer says point guard Jrue Holiday has started working out and he may be getting close to a return to action.
The Bucks host New Orleans Thursday.
