While details are scarce, Appleton Police are looking into a report of shots being fired in a residential neighborhood on the north side.
An alert was sent out by the Appleton Police Department yesterday (February 23rd) informing the public that they were looking into a possible shots fired situation in the 1700 block of North Erb Street.
They closed down roadways around the area while on the scene, but they have since re-opened.
One report indicates that shell casings were found, but no victims were located, and no suspects have been named.
The Police Department is asking anyone with any information on the incident to call 920-832-5500.
