Officials at Sonnenberg Schools in Mount Pleasant are blaming heavy snow for collapsing the school’s room last week.
That school serves 36 students with autism and other special needs.
School administrators say the collapse resulted in a water main break and the building has been condemned.
They’re not expecting to be able to return to the building for the rest of this school year.
They say they are hoping to find a temporary home for the school in the next week or so.
