A last-minute goal by Ty Pelton-Byce tied the score 5-5 when the Wisconsin men’s hockey team hosted Notre Dame Saturday night.
Notre Dame got the extra point in a shootout, leaving second-place Wisconsin four points behind the Minnesota Gophers in the Big Ten Conference standings.
Pelton-Byce had a pair of goals to go with a pair of assists, giving him his first four-point game at U-W.
A score by sophomore Cole Caufield kept him at the top of the list of all scorers in college hockey with 19.
The Badgers stay at home to host Ohio State Friday night at 7:00 p-m and Saturday at 4:00 p-m.
