
The dominant Wisconsin volleyball team lost a set for just the second time this season while beating Michigan State Sunday 3-1.
The undefeated Badgers took the first two sets by 25-to-10 and 25-to-16 scores when the Spartans surprised them in the third set 25-to-21. Wisconsin took care of business in the fourth set 25-to-22. The Badgers hadn’t lost a set since January 30th against Illinois.
Freshman outside hitter Jade Demps had a career-high 17 kills, Lauren Barnes had a career-high 28 digs, and Sydney Hilley added 39 assists.
Wisconsin returns to the U-W Fieldhouse for Friday and Saturday matches against Nebraska.
