
The Wisconsin Badgers snapped their two-game losing streak Sunday night by ripping Northwestern 68-51.
The Cats cut the lead to 46-39 with about 13 minutes left, but Wisconsin put it out of reach by going on a 13-1 run.
Micah Potter scored 19 points, D’Mitrik Trice had 13 as Wisconsin improved its record to 16-and-8 overall, including 10-and-7 in conference play.
The Badgers bounced back after losses to number-three Michigan and number-11 Iowa in Big Ten Conference games.
Coach Greg Gard’s bench outscored the Wildcats bench 31-to-16 and Northwestern turned the ball over 14 times while losing its 13th straight game.
The Badgers host number-five Illinois Saturday afternoon.
