The Milwaukee Bucks’ big players came up big in a 128-115 win over the Sacramento Kings Sunday.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton combined for 70 points as Milwaukee won its second straight game after ending that five-game losing streak.
Antetokounmpo scored 38 points and took down 18 rebounds in a dominant performance. Middleton added 32 with eight rebounds as the team continues to play without point guard Jrue Holliday.
The win keeps coach Mike Budenholzer’s squad two games behind the 76ers in the Eastern Conference standings in third place.
Milwaukee returns to action Tuesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves and interim coach Chris Finch. Former Timberwolves coach Ryan Saunders was fired over the weekend.
