The deadline to register for the 2021 iteration of the big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl For Kids’ Sake fundraiser is fast approaching.
Organizers are asking teams to register online by February 28th so they can order t-shirts for all participants. Seehafer Broadcasting is a major sponsor of the event. Sales Manager Terry Stevenson explained, “We at Seehafer Broadcasting are always looking at how we can make a difference. Big Brothers Big Sisters makes that difference in kids’ lives, not only as a Little, but it also impacts the Bigs. Myself, being a former Big, being a former Little, I can tell you from both sides, what it does for us.”
The Bowl for Kids’ Sake fundraiser is the biggest of the year for Big Brothers Big Sisters, but this year it will look a little different. While they will not have an in-person event this year, organizers are asking participants to gather pledges, and turn them in, while bowling on their own time.
All of the money raised will go directly back to the local organization. Pledges will need to be turned in by March 31st, which is also when participants will receive their “Bowler Thank You Bag” which includes a coupon for 3 free games of bowling with shoes at Rudy’s Lanes, an Official Bowl for Kids’ Sake T-Shirt, a coupon for free 6-inch sub sandwich from Subway, and other surprise items.
