A Brown County homicide trial is on hold because Circuit Court Judge Timothy Hinkfuss slipped on some ice Wednesday and broke his ankle while leaving the courthouse.
The trial for 75-year-old James Prokopovitz was scheduled for its fourth day Thursday. Now, the trial will resume Monday.
Prokopovitz is charged with first-degree intentional homicide in the disappearance of his wife, Victoria, who has been missing since April 2013.
