The Two Rivers City Council this week approved a temporary resolution that would create a new TID (Tax Incremental District).
City Manager Greg Buckley told Seehafer News that it is “Regarding the intent to create a new TID District at our Woodland Industrial Park in response to the interest shown by a local business to put up a building on a parcel of land on the northeast corner of State Highway 310 and Woodland.”
Meanwhile, the Council heard projected bids for some major road and utility work planned for the Cool City this summer.
Buckley said that one project had eight bidders, and another had nine. Both coming in slightly under the engineer’s cost estimates. We’re looking at bringing those projects to Council for “award of contract March first.”
The total estimated cost for all projected work is nearly $4 million.
