The Wisconsin Department of Corrections is confirming a youth counselor at the state’s juvenile prison facility is recovering from a Tuesday morning assault.
The victim’s name hasn’t been released.
The incident at the Lincoln Hills-Copper Lake Schools campus involved the counselor and one inmate.
A state spokesperson didn’t say what led to the attack or what specific injuries the counselor suffered. That person was treated at a medical facility, then released.
