
After being closed to the public for the past five months, the Manitowoc Public Library has re-opened its doors.
Youth Director Julia Lee spoke with Seehafer News yesterday and was in an “especially good mood” as she announced the new temporary hours of operation.
Lee said they will “be open with our temporary hours, 9:00 to 6:00 PM Monday through Thursday, 9:00 to 4:00 PM on Friday, 9:00 to 1:00 PM on Saturday, and we will be closed on Sunday.”
As for the reason for the reduced hours, Lee explained “Each night our staff is going through the building and disinfecting and sanitizing and making it as safe as possible.”
The library officially opened its doors yesterday.
Lee called the cold weather Eastern Wisconsin has been experiencing “perfect reading weather” and asked people to come visit the newly re-opened library.
