When the Marquette volleyball team hosts number-20 Creighton Friday and Saturday afternoons the Golden Eagles will be honoring senior Sarah Rose in her battle against cancer.
All Marquette athletic teams will wear gold jerseys or shoelaces February 17th through the 21st for Rose, who is undergoing treatment for Ewing’s Sarcoma, a form of bone cancer.
The Golden Eagles have back-to-back-to-back sweeps since dropping a three-to-two match to Creighton two weeks ago.
Marquette turned around and beat the Bluejays the next day, February 6th, for the first time in eight years.
