Manitowoc County Court Commissioner Patricia Koppa set bail at $500 cash for a 22-year-old Manitowoc man who’s charged with Resisting an Officer, Discharge of Bodily Fluids at a Public Safety Worker, Three Counts of Disorderly Conduct each with a Domestic Violence Enhancer, and Four Counts of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
Manitowoc Police Officers responded to a residence in the 13oo block of South 19th Street Tuesday night on a report of a man identified as Jose A. Nolasco beating his wife and threatening to stab people. Officers received a tip that Nolasco was at the Marathon Gas Station on Washington Street. He eventually showed up acting aggressively. After subduing him with a TAZER Nolasco allegedly turned his head towards an officer as he was being put in the squad car and spit at the law enforcement official.
Conditions of bail are that Nolasco has “no contact” with the victim or her residence. He remains in the County Jail with an initial appearance scheduled for February 22nd at 1:30.
