It didn’t take long for former Packers defensive coordinator Mike Pettine to find a new job. Pettine has been hired by the Chicago Bears as a senior defensive assistant.
He will work under new defensive coordinator Sean Desai, who was promoted to replace the retired Chuck Pagano.
Green Bay decided not to renew Pettine’s contract after a pair of 11-and-3 seasons and losses in the N-F-C championship game.
Joe Barry was named the Packers new defensive coordinator this week.
