The newest exhibit at Manitowoc’s Rahr-West Art Museum is preparing to open up at the end of the month.
The exhibit is entitled Portrait of Manitowoc and is a collaboration with local portrait artist Sonia Vasquez.
This installation explores community identity through portraits of members of the Manitowoc community. Participants were asked to reflect on their identity and what it means to them to be a citizen of Manitowoc.
The exhibit is scheduled to run from February 28th through June 6th, with Vasquez on site for discussion from 1:00 to 4:00 on March 6th, and 20th, and April 3rd.
