Across the board, Eastern Wisconsin has seen a slight rise in gas prices over the past week.
According to AAA’s Fuel Gauge Report, Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties saw the smallest increase, each rising 4 cents to $2.28 and $2.27 respectively, while Calumet County saw their average price per gallon jump 7 cents to $2.25.
Outagamie and Brown Counties saw the two largest spikes, at 8 cents and 10 cents respectively to $2.26 and $2.28. Kewaunee County wasn’t far behind, jumping up 7 cents to $2.29, however Door County continues to have the highest price in the area at $2.35 per gallon, an increase of 6 cents from last week.
Gas prices rose all throughout the state as well. The average price in Wisconsin rose 7 cents to $2.33, but we still are lower than the national average, which sits at $2.47, a rise of 5 cents.
