
The Wisconsin Badgers’ descent in the Associated Press Basketball Poll continues with the loss to Illinois knocking them down two more notches to 21st.
The Badgers are number-16 in the NET Rankings, which play a role in seedings for the N-C-A-A Tournament. Gonzaga holds on to the top spot.
Six other Big Ten Conference teams remain in the top 25, including Michigan at number-three. Ohio State is fourth, followed by number-six Illinois, number-15 Iowa, number-24 Purdue, and number-25 Rutgers.
The Badgers have lost three out of their last five games as they travel to Nebraska Thursday.
Then, U-W hosts number-three Michigan Sunday when the Wolverines play their first game since January 22nd. The program has been on pause due to a COVID-19 outbreak.
