State Representative Glenn Grothman of Glenbeulah has announced that he is returning to serve as the ranking member of the National Security Subcommittee.
Grothman called the roll and honor, saying it “plays an important role in making sure the interests of the United States are being represented fairly.”
That does include jurisdiction to oversee immigration and border security, which Grothman said is “rapidly declining under the Biden administration and will require a massive amount of oversight.” This subcommittee also has a purview of issues affecting veterans.
Grothman said that as the ranking member of the subcommittee, he will “make sure our veterans are getting a fair shake, our borders are not being taken advantage of and the United States’ relationships with other countries are being upheld justly.”
