The Sheboygan Police Department is now accepting applications for their Citizen Academy.
The program lasts nine weeks, with three-hour meetings every Tuesday evening. Participants will be exposed to a wide variety of police activities, including but not limited to police investigations, use of force, and the legal system.
The program is open to anyone aged 18 years or older, with the exception of felons. Background checks will be conducted as well.
