
A sentence has been handed down to a 23-year-old Manitowoc man in a high-speed chase case from 2019.
Judge Jerilyn Dietz has sentenced Jacob P. Hetue to five years in prison, with an additional five in extended supervision after he was convicted on charges of Fleeing or Eluding an Officer, Possession of Amphetamine with Intent to Deliver, and Resisting or Obstructing an Officer.
The Two Rivers Police Department attempted to pull Hetue over at around 9:30 AM on October 25th, 2019, as he had a felony warrant out for his arrest. Hetue speed off, traveling through the township of Kossuth before making his way into Manitowoc.
A Manitowoc Police Officer performed a PIT maneuver near the intersection of North 8th Street and Waldo Boulevard, and K9 Keto was used to help bring Hetue into Custody.
