The teenager who was being sought after he allegedly shot and killed a 19-year-old man has been arrested.
17-year-old Dezman Ellis was taken into custody at around 3:30 PM in Des Moines Iowa Thursday afternoon (February 4th) without incident.
He was found after the Grand Chute Police Department received information that Ellis was likely out of the state. They then enlisted the help of the U.S. Marshals Service to find and arrest him.
Ellis has been charged with 1st Degree Intentional Homicide and 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety after he allegedly shot and killed 19-year-old Jovanni Frausto over what was reportedly a verbal argument about a girl.
A second person was injured but has since been released from the hospital.
