
The Manitowoc Public Library will reopen Wednesday, February 17th at 9 a.m.
In a news release, they state that the declining pattern of COVID-19 cases throughout Manitowoc0 County was the main reason in deciding to reopen.
They emphasize that they will continue to uphold safety protocols and restrictions based on CDC recommendations until further notice which include those age 2 and older to wear masks that cover both the mouth and nose at all times, maintain a minimum distance of 6 feet from other patrons and staff, no gathering or lingering and patrons are not to enter the library if you are sick. Reduced hours will be Monday thru Thursday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Fridays 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This will allow for enhanced thorough cleaning of all public areas. Curbside pickup services will also continue until further notice. Library Leadership will frequently reevaluate the situation and for a complete list of safety protocols visit the Library’s Website.
