You can list wide receiver Danny Davis’ name among the standout players who will take advantage of the extra season of eligibility granted by the N-C-A-A.
Davis says he will return to play for the football Badgers this fall.
Injuries kept him off the field for most of the 2020 season, limiting him to two games, three receptions, 78 yards, and a touchdown.
Davis has been productive when healthy. He was a four-star recruit in 2017 and in portions of four seasons he has 96 receptions for 1,086 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Wisconsin struggled on offense during last season as redshirt freshman Graham Mertz had to play without Davis and Kendric Pryor – and didn’t have the strong running game the Badgers have featured in the past.
