The powers that be at Summerfest have decided to change the dates for their scheduled 2021 show.
The new days are September 2nd through the 4th, 9th through the 11th, and 16th through the 18th. The dates were shifted to give health professionals more time to vaccinate the general public.
In a news release, Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. said “While the progress made through the vaccine rollout is encouraging, we believe it is in the public’s best interest to hold the festival in September to give government leaders and healthcare organizations enough time to distribute the vaccine. We will continue to work diligently with civic officials and healthcare professionals as we prepare to welcome artists, fans, employees, vendors and sponsorship partners this summer.”
