The suspect believed to have been responsible for a hit and run incident in Sheboygan County early Tuesday morning (February 2nd) was arrested in Ozaukee County.
The crash occurred on I-43 near Highway 23 just before 2:00 AM yesterday. The responding Sheriff’s Deputy was told that the suspect was speeding, struck a southbound vehicle, and caused it to leave the roadway, but failed to stop.
The Deputy then put out a call for surrounding law enforcement to keep an eye out for the suspect’s vehicle.
It was located in Ozaukee County, and the suspect admitted his fault.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
