Same two teams, much different result.
The Wisconsin Badgers got revenge for the loss at Penn State last weekend by dominating the second half of a 72-56 win at home Tuesday.
The Badgers (14-and-5, 8-and-4 Big Ten) lead was just two points at the half.
Wisconsin’s bench accounted for nearly half of the team’s offense, with reserve Jonathan Davis hitting 4 or 4 on 3-pointers and scoring a career-high 17.
The victory means Wisconsin is a game-and-a-half behind Michigan for the conference lead and the Wolverines are on pause due to COVID-19.
Wisconsin goes on the road Saturday to play at Illinois.
