Authorities in southwest Missouri say a 37-year-old Milwaukee man was shot to death by a homeowner last week while he was trying to break into the house.
Ryan Altman was identified as the man forcing his way inside the home in Willard last Thursday. When Altman made it inside, the owner pulled out his gun and shot him.
Altman died and the homeowner also suffered unspecified injuries in the incident.
Greene County Sheriff’s deputies say two other people inside the home at the time of the burglary weren’t hurt.
