Lakeshore Community Action Program, or Lakeshore Cap, has received a $25,000 grant which allows them to partner up with The Crossing to help support families in need.
According to Colleen Homb, the Director of Lakeshore CAP, this money will go toward providing baby and young child supplies for needy families.
Homb said in a news release, “This is part of our Connections Count program where we work to connect families with young children to the resources they need. Through this grant we are able to provide families in need items such as car seats, pack-n-plays, baby gates, winter gear, educational games etc.”
The only qualifying requirements to receiving items is that they must live in Manitowoc County, have a child age 5 or younger, and be in need of the items.
