The 81-71 loss at Penn State has dropped the Wisconsin Badgers all the way down to 19th in the Associated Press Poll this week.
The Badgers get a quick chance at revenue when the Nittany Lions visit the Kohl Center tonight (Tuesday). Tipoff is at 7:00 p-m.
More important, Wisconsin is ranked 18th in the NET Rankings and that is a measuring stick used by the N-C-A-A Selection Committee. It factors in winning percentage, game results, strength of schedule, game location, scoring margin, net offensive, and defensive efficiency, and the quality of wins and losses.
Wisconsin has nine games left in the Big Ten Conference schedule and six are against the teams ranked higher – Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, and Purdue.
