A Manitowoc woman was arrested for drug possession over the weekend.
An officer with the Manitowoc Police Department was surveilling a known drug house in the 500 block of North 10th Street at around 3:30 AM on Friday (January 29th) and noted a car was sitting out front of the property. The vehicle then left that location and was followed by another vehicle to the Kwik Trip on North 8th Street.
The officer watched as an unknown individual walked between the vehicles multiple times before they both left. The officer pulled over the first vehicle and was informed that the driver was on probation, which led to a search of both occupants.
The 18-year-old female passenger was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and was arrested.
She is facing charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, and one count each of Felony and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
