An 18-year-old Village of Cleveland woman is free on bail facing charges after being taken into custody late last week.
Court Commissioner Patricia Koppa set bail at $150 cash for Isabella M. Lopez on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and one count each of Felony and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
An MPD officer on patrol saw a vehicle sitting out front of a known drug house in the 500 block of North 10thStreet early last Friday morning that was followed by another vehicle to the Kwik Trip on North Eighth Street.
The officer pulled over their vehicle upon leaving the store and was informed that Lopez was on probation. Both individuals were searched where it was discovered that Lopez was in possession of meth and taken into custody. Conditions of bail are that Lopez have “no contact” with the residence or any known drug dealers or users and maintain “absolute sobriety.”
Her initial appearance is scheduled for February 8th at 1:30 p.m.
