An apartment fire in Milwaukee has killed a 72-year-old man and left 80 people without a home.
Firefighters were called to the location shortly after midnight.
The victim was found inside his apartment where that fire started. He hasn’t been officially identified though family members say his name was Nathaniel Beal.
They say he recently recovered from COVID-19.
Authorities called in MCTS buses to help keep the displaced residents warm during temperatures in the single digits.
Beal was the only person injured by the fire.
