The Kenosha Police Department says two of the officers involved in the Jacob Blake shooting last summer have returned to full duty.
Officers Vincent Arenas and Brittany Meronek have been on administrative leave since August 23rd. Neither Arenas nor Meronek was charged with a crime. The Kenosha County District Attorney and an independent investigator determined their actions that night were “reasonable and justified.” The officer who shot Blake, Rusten Sheskey (pictured), is still on administrative leave pending the findings of a use-of-force review board.
He was also cleared of criminal wrongdoing in the case.
