
The Manitowoc County Sheriff Department has released more details about the crash in Shoto yesterday morning (January 26th).
According to Major Jason Orth, the incident occurred at around 6:15 AM and saw 50-year-old Todd D. Gilbert traveling south on County Highway B, when he lost control of his truck near Manitou Drive.
Gilbert then entered the west ditch, struck a traffic sign and culvert, and ended up in the West Twin River.
Hi-Way 42 Garage was called to the scene to remove the truck from the river.
Gilbert was not injured in the accident, and drugs nor alcohol were believed to have been factors in the incident.
