Witnesses say a worker at a Madison construction site was walking on a catwalk Monday afternoon when he fell 30 feet to a concrete surface below.
The name of the man who suffered serious injuries hasn’t been released.
Emergency responders say he was alert as he was being taken to a hospital.
The victim was found on the fourth floor, so a stokes basket was used to bring him down to the ground level.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration responded to the site along with Madison police. The fall has been determined to be an accident.
