The Two Rivers and Manitowoc Police Departments teamed up on Monday (January 25th) to arrest a man who had reportedly kicked down his mother’s door.
The Manitowoc Police Department dispatched officers to the victim’s home in the 700 block of East Albert Drive just before 11:00 AM, where they witnessed and photographed the damage done to the door.
The victim told the officers that her 18-year-old son had kicked the door in because she refused to let him take his dog whom she had been caring for because he was not properly caring for it and because he had a warrant out for his arrest.
Coincidentally, the man had just been pulled over by an officer with the Two Rivers Police Department on an unrelated traffic violation. The man was transferred to the Manitowoc County Jail on a charge of Criminal Damage to Property with a Domestic Violence Order, as well as one count each of Felony and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
