The Green Bay Packers season has been stopped one game short of the Super Bowl for a second straight time.
Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady threw three touchdown passes in Sunday’s 31-26 victory at Lambeau Field. Tampa Bay will meet the Kansas City Chiefs in the big game, and are the first team to compete in the Super Bowl on their home field.
The Bucs defense sacked Aaron Rodgers five times while ending the Packers’ seven-game winning streak.
Coach Matt LaFleur’s decision to kick a field goal instead of going for it on fourth-and-goal with two minutes left will be questioned. Tampa was able to run out the clock and end Green Bay’s season.
It was the fourth time in the last seven years that the Packers lost the N-F-C championship game.
