
Wisconsin volleyball looked like a number one team while sweeping Purdue over the weekend, 3-0 and 3-0.
The Badgers didn’t drop a set all weekend against the Boilermakers, who came in ranked 15th.
Senior Dana Rettke had seven blocks Saturday while her team out-blocked the visitors 10-1. Rettke became the eighth player in the program’s history with 500 blocks. She also had 14 kills.
U-W got 11 saves from senior Giorgia Civita and redshirt senior Molly Haggerty picked up a double-double with 10 digs and 12 kills.
The Badgers (2-and-0, 2-and-0 Big Ten) travel to Illinois next weekend for matches Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.
