The Two Rivers City Council met on Monday, where they discussed a few city related items.
One of those items was the Community Development Block Grant Application submitted by the city. City Manager Greg Buckley explained, saying “This is under some special black grant COVID relief funding, as is for installing a drive-up window and related facilities at the Senior Center.”
This would allow for contactless pickup of meals, as well as other services, and the entirety of the $88,000 tab would be covered by the grant. Buckley believes the City’s application will be approved.
He also explained that the Council took action on some park and recreation related fees, which include a “$10 increase for residents on park shelter rentals, some other fees for the use of the beach parking lot, and some of our other outdoor areas.
The Council will next be meeting on Monday for their monthly work session meeting.
