MPU is experiencing a power outage on the near north side.
The MPU Accounts and Meter Services Manager says crews are working on identifying the problem.
UPDATE 2:49 PM:
About 1300 customers were affected by the power outage, due to a tree branch coming in contact with high voltage lines. The outage began at 1:00 PM, affecting customers in the near north side from N. 21st Street to the lake, and Waldo Blvd to the Manitowoc River. Service was restored by 1:45 PM for most customers. A small outage in the 900 Block of State Street was restored by 2:30 PM.
