After Golden State exploited their inside defense, and with Giannis Antetokounmpo waiting, the Los Angeles Lakers have been focusing on protecting the basket team meetings.
The Warriors scored 14 buckets within three feet of the basket Monday while wiping out a 19-point deficit and beating the Lakers. Add to that the fact the Bucks are one of the best finishing teams in the N-B-A, hitting more than 65% of their shots inside five feet.
The six-11 Antetokounmpo is known for his hard-charging toward the basket.
The Lakers hope a little more discipline helps them build the “wall” other teams have used to keep the Greek Freak away from the inside game and beat the otherwise high-scoring Bucks.
The Lakers take on the Milwaukee Bucks at 6:00 p-m tonight (Thursday) in the Fiserv Forum.
