Holy Family Memorial and Bellin Health have announced a partnership to bring enhanced Cardiovascular care services to the Manitowoc County area.
Brett Norell, the President and CEO of HFM, explained that “We do have an interventional cardiologist on staff in the cath lab, but it’s hard with one so we got support from Bellin, and their interventional cardiologist.”
Norell also told SeehaferNews.com that they “also added medical cardiology, which we haven’t had in the past. Those are ones that may see you in the hospital and consult and help you on that side.”
Norell spoke highly of the business relationship HFM has with Bellin, calling them a very strong partner, and that they “want the care to be kept local. There isn’t a desire to have patients transferred to Green Bay if they don’t have to be.”
Bellin Health President and CEO Chris Woleske also commented on the partnership, saying, “This partnership is an evolution of the long-standing relationship between our two organizations. Bellin and Holy Family Memorial have a long history of serving the people of this region and it’s important for us to shape and lead heart care to provide the right care at the right time in the right place now and in the future.”
