A 21-year-old Milwaukee man could wind up spending more than 30 years in prison if he is found guilty of two felony charges connected to a fatal hit-and-run accident.
Former Marquette University Dean Joseph Daniels was the victim.
Jordan Jones is charged with hit and run resulting in death and knowingly operating a motor vehicle while suspended.
Daniels was killed while crossing a street on February 11th. He was Dean of Business Administration at Marquette.
A woman in the S-U-V initially told investigators she was driving, then changed her story.
16 days later she told authorities Jones had tried to get her to refuse to cooperate with the police.
